The Department of Science and Technology, India is seeking applications from eligible candidates for Kishore Scientific Promotion Scheme (KVPY) Fellowships. The program is being implemented by the Indian Institute of
Science (IISc) Bangalore. The latest was released in the 2021 announcement. The purpose of this program is to

Financial Incentive:
- Rs.5000 / – per month at UG level and Rs.20,000 / – per annum under contingency grant. Rs 7000 per month at PG level and Rs 28,000 per year under contingency grant.
Duration:
- Pre-PhD level up to five years. Whichever of the two precedes the end.
Categories:
- Stream SA, Stream SX, Stream SB.
Eligibility:
- Candidates who are currently studying (2021-22) Intermediate Primary / Secondary, Degree / Integrated PG first year in relevant subjects are eligible.
Choice:
- Based on KVPY Aptitude Test, Interview.
