Eligibility:
(i) Must hold a Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering or equivalent qualification from a University in India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act or a Provincial Act or State Act or institution recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). OR
Must hold a Diploma in Automobile Engineering (3 years course) awarded by any institution recognized by the Central Government or State Government approved by the AICTE, New Delhi, and
(ii) Must hold a valid Driving License authorized to drive Heavy Motor Vehicles (Transport Vehicles). (For more info check notification)
Age Limit: The candidates should possess a Minimum of 21 years & Maximum of 39 years. The age is reckoned as of 01/07/2022 (Rule-12(1)(a)(v) of State and Subordinate Service Rules).
(As per G.O.Ms.No.60, General Administration (Ser.A) Dept., Dt: 20/05/2022 the maximum age limit raised by a further two (2) years, in addition to the rise of three (3) years vide G.O.Ms.No.48, General Administration (Ser.A) Dept., Dt: 13/04/2022 for uniformed service, i.e., total five (5) years).
Minimum Age (21 years): An Applicant should not be born after 01/07/2001.
Maximum Age (39 years): An applicant should not be born before 02/07/1983.
The Upper Age limit will be relaxed as per the Rules and will be calculated on the above lines.
Age Relaxations: The upper age limit prescribed above is however relaxable in the following cases:
Application FEE:
i) Application Processing Fee:- Each applicant must pay Rs. 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred Only) towards Online Application Processing Fee.
ii) Examination Fee:- The applicants have to pay RS. 120/- (Rupees One Hundred and Twenty Only) towards Examination Fee. However,
a) All unemployees are exempted from payment of examination fee, and
b) All Employees of any Government (Central / State / PSUs / Corporations / Other Government sectors) have to pay the prescribed examination fee.
