Exam Details:
Telangana Social Welfare Residential Center of Excellence Common Entrance Test-2023
Groups: MPC, BIPC, MEC, CEC. Instruction will be in English medium.
Seats: 3680 (Boys- 1680; Girls- 2000)
Reservation: 75% seats for SCs, 2% for SC Converted Christians, 6% for STs, 12% for BCs, 3% for Minorities, 2% for OC/ EBCs.
Eligibility: Students appearing for Class X examinations in March 2023 are eligible to apply. But must pass the 10th standard. Annual Income of Student’s Parents Rs.2,00,000 (Urban Area); Not exceeding Rs.1,50,000 (Rural Area).
Age Limit: The age of students should not exceed 17 years as of 31.08.2023. Two years of relaxation for SC, SC converted Christian students.
Selection Process: Seats will be allotted based on screening test merit and reservation rule.
Exam Pattern: The Ommar pattern of the exam carries one mark for each question out of 160 marks. One mark will be deducted for four wrong answers. MPC- English, Maths, Physics, Chemistry subjects, BIPC- English, Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology subjects, MEC/ CEC- English, Maths, Social, GK, Current Affairs subjects.
