LIC – Golden Jubilee Scholarship Scheme

Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has released the Golden Jubilee Scholarship Notification for the year 2021. It provides financial assistance for higher studies for gifted students who are financially backward. LIC – Golden Jubilee Scholarship Scheme | Last Date: 31.12.2021.

LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship-2021

Eligibility:

• Intermediate/equivalent pass with at least 60% marks in the academic year 2020-21.
• The annual income of the parents should not exceed Rs. 2 lakhs.
• Scholarships are awarded to students pursuing Medicine / Engineering / any graduation / integrated courses / diploma in any field / equivalent courses / vocational courses (in ITIs).

Tenth class/equivalent pass with at least 60% marks in the academic year 2020-21. The annual income of the parents should not exceed Rs. 2 lakhs. These scholarships are awarded to students pursuing higher education in vocational courses in government-recognized colleges / ITIs.

Scholarships especially for girls: These are offered to promote girls’ education. Girls who have passed 10th class and are studying Intermediate are eligible for this. Tenth class/equivalent pass with 60% marks for the academic year 2020-21. The annual income of the parents should not exceed Rs. 2 lakhs.

Scholarship Duration:

• Regular Scholars will be offered till the completion of the relevant course. Scholarships exclusively for girls are offered for two years.

Amount of Scholarships:

• Rs. 20,000 / – per annum will be provided to regular scholars in three installments.
• Rs 10,000 per annum exclusively for girls will be provided in three installments.

Selection Procedure:

• The selection process will be based on the merit marks obtained in 10/10 + 2 and the family annuity of the parents.
