Subjects:

  • PGT – English / Hindi / Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics / Economics / Biology / History / Geography / Commerce / Information Technology
  • TGT – English / Hindi / Mathematics / Science / Social Studies.

Eligibility:

  • Bachelor’s degree, Bachelor’s degree along with BEd in relevant subjects as per the post.
  • Must have teaching proficiency in Hindi and English medium.

Selection Procedure:

  •  EMRS Teaching Staff Selection Exam (ETSSE) will be conducted in a computer-based manner.
  • The test is administered in English and Hindi mediums.

Examination Procedure:

Principals’ and Vice Principals’

  • Principals’ and Vice Principals’ examination procedures are the same.
  • The exam (Objective Type) is conducted for 160 marks and the Personality Test / Interview is conducted for 40 marks.
  • This includes questions from Journal English, Journal Hindi, Journal Knowledge & Current Affairs, Logical Reasoning, Computer Literacy, Quantitative Aptitude Test, Academic, and Administrative.
  • 1 mark will be allotted for each correct answer.
  • A deduction of 0.25 marks will be levied for each wrong answer.
  • The test time is 3 hours.

The PGT exam (Objective Type)

  • The PGT exam (Objective Type) is for 160 marks and the Personality Test / Interview is for 40 marks.
  • Subject to the subject: Journal English, Journal Hindi, Journal Knowledge & Current Affairs, Analytical Ability, Numerical Ability, Computer Literacy, Teaching Aptitude / Pedagogy.
  • 1 mark will be allotted for each correct answer.
  • A deduction of 0.25 marks will be levied for each wrong answer.
  • The test time is 3 hours.

The TGT test (Objective Type)

  • The TGT test (Objective Type) is for a total of 180 marks.
  • Subject to the subject: Journal English, Journal Hindi, Journal Knowledge & Current Affairs, Analytical Ability, Numerical Ability, Computer Literacy, Teaching Aptitude / Pedagogy.
  • The test time is 3 hours.

Application fee:

  • For Principal & Vice Principal Posts – Rs.2000/-
  • For PGT, TGT Posts Rs.1500/-

Exam Date:

  • Last week of May 2021 / First week of June 2021.
