Common Admission Test (CAT)-2023 | The Common Admission Test (CAT) is an entrance exam that provides an opportunity to pursue management courses in the prestigious Indian Institute of Management (IIM) colleges. Recently CAT-2023 notification has come out. IIM colleges across the country conduct this entrance test themselves. Allotment of seats is based on the percentile achieved in CAT conducted through an online computer-based system. Apart from IIMs, reputed colleges also reserve seats in their colleges on the basis of CAT scores.

Common Admission Test (CAT)-2023

Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree pass with minimum 50% marks (SC, ST, PWDs are eligible with 45% marks). Candidates appearing for final year degree exams can apply. Exam centers in AP and Telangana states: Anantapur, Chittoor, Guntur, Kakinada, Kurnool, Nellore, Rajahmundry, Srikakulam, Tirupati, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Vijayanagaram, Hyderabad, Karimnagar, Khammam, Warangal. This year the exam will be conducted in 155 cities across the country. 

Exam Pattern: Computer-Based Test will be conducted. The exam consists of three sections. There are questions in Section-1 Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Section-2 Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning, and Section-3 Quantitative Ability sections. Each question carries three marks. Those who pass this exam will be selected by the respective institutes through group discussions, rote ability tests, and face-to-face.

Registration Fee: Rs.2400 (Sc, ST, Disabled candidates have to pay Rs.1200).

Admit Card Download Dates: 25-10-2023 to 26-11-2023

Exam Date: 26-11-2023

Declaration of Results: 2024, Second week of January.
