The Indian Air Force, Ministry of Defense, Government of India is seeking applications from Unmarried Men and Women for the year 2023 for the following admissions: AFCAT, NCC Special Entry-January 2023 | Last Date: 30 December 2021.

Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT), NCC Special Entry-January 2023

Branch wise vacancies:

1. Flying-77
2. Ground Duty (Technical) -129
3. Ground Duty (Non-Technical) -111

• Candidates who have joined through Permanent‌ Commission should provide services as per the relevant branch and rank.
• Candidates enrolled through the Short‌ Service‌ Commission‌ are required to provide 14 years of service.
• Those enrolled through Ground‌ Duty must serve 10 years.

1. Flying Branch:

Eligibility: 

• Candidates who have completed any degree or BE / BTech with at least 60% marks can apply.
• Inter Mathematics and Physics are mandatory.

* Students pursuing degree final year courses are also eligible to apply.

Salaries:

• Flying officers are paid between Rs.56100 and Rs.177500.

2. Ground Duty (Technical):

• Candidates who have completed any degree or BE / BTech with at least 60% marks can apply.
• Inter Mathematics and Physics are mandatory.

Departments:

• Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics, Mechanical).

3. Ground Duty (Non-Technical):

Eligibility: 

• Graduation with at least 60% marks.

* Basic Rs 1 crore insurance cover for employees on duty.

Age (until January 01, 2023): 

1. Flying‌ Branch:

• Must be between 20 and 24 years old.

2. Ground Duty Branch:

• Must be between 20-26 years.

* Only female candidates should apply.

Training:

• Starts in January 2023.
• Training will be at Air Force Academy Dundigal-Hyderabad.

Duration of training: 52 weeks.

Selection Procedure:

• The final selection will be based on the online test.






Examination Procedure:

• There will be a question paper for one hundred marks. Questions are asked in a multiple-choice approach.
• It includes questions from General Awareness, English, Reasoning, Numerical Ability, and Military Aptitude.
• Psychological tests, group tests, and interviews will be conducted for those who qualify.
