INTERNATIONAL YOUTH DAY : అంతర్జాతీయ యువ దినోత్సవం | అంతర్జాతీయ యువజన దినోత్సవమును (INTERNATIONAL YOUTH DAY) ప్రతి సంవత్సరం ఆగస్టు 12న జరుపుకుంటారు. ఐక్యరాజ్య సమితి యువత కోసం చేపట్టిన ప్రపంచ కార్యాచరణ కార్యక్రమం పట్ల యువతకు అవగాహన కలిగించేందుకు అంతర్జాతీయ యువజన దినోత్సవాన్ని ప్రకటించింది. మొదటి అంతర్జాతీయ యువజన దినోత్సవం 2000 ఆగస్టు 12లో జరిగింది.
యువజనదినోత్సవమును జరుపుకోవడం వలన యువత దృష్టిని ఆకర్షించడం ద్వారా ప్రయోజనం చేకూరుతుంది. సాంస్కృతిక, చట్టపరమైన సమస్యల ద్వారా అపాయంలో చిక్కుకున్న జనాభాకు ఇటువంటి దినోత్సవాల అవసరం ఉంది.
అంతర్జాతీయ యువజన దినోత్సవం (ఇంటర్నేషనల్ యూత్ డే) ప్రతి సంవత్సరం ఆగస్టు 12 న జరుపుకుంటారు. ఇది 1999లో ఐక్యరాజ్యసమితి తీర్మానం 54/120 అనుసరణ ద్వారా రూపొందించబడింది.
