The Union Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment has come forward to provide financial support for the education of school students. National Testing Agency (NTA) is inviting applications for conducting the Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme for Vibrant India (Yasasvi) Entrance Test-2022. Eligible school students can apply online.
Yashaswi is a scholarship scheme organized by the Union Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment for the Other Backward Class (OBC), Economically Backward Class (EBC), De-Notified, Nomadic & Semi Nomadic Tribes (DNT/ SNT) communities. PM Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme for Vibrant India (YASASVI)
Eligibility:
Students studying Class IX or Class XI in the current academic year in Government recognized schools are eligible. Students of parents whose annual income does not exceed 2.5 lakhs can apply for this scheme.
Selection Process:
Selection will be made on the basis of a successful entrance exam-2022 in a computer-based test conducted in major cities across the country.
Exam Pattern:
The question paper consists of multiple choice questions in Hindi and English languages. Duration is 3 hours. There will be questions on Mathematics, Science, Social Science, and General Awareness/Knowledge subjects. The number of questions is 100 and the question paper carries 4 marks for a total of 400 marks.
