Areas of Examination:

• Chemical Sciences, Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Physical Sciences.

Eligibility:

• Candidates have M.Sc/ Equivalent Degree with 55% Marks & SC, ST, PH: 50% Marks.
• Integrated Course and BE/B.Tech/ B.Pharma and MBBS Candidates are also Eligible for CSIR NET 2021

Age:

• JRF candidates should not exceed 28 years as of 01.07.2021. Lecturership (LS) / Assistant Professor posts are not age-related.

Selection:

• The selection process will be based on the Joint National Eligibility Test (NET).

Examination Procedure:

• This examination is conducted in a computer-based method (CBT). It consists of questions from three sections. The questions will be in objective format from Part A, Part B, and Part C sections. The test is conducted in Hindi and English.

• General, EWS Candidates: Rs. 1000/-
• OBC Candidates: Rs. 500/-
• SC, ST Candidates: Rs. 250/-
