3. Air Force Academy(AFA), Hyderabad- 32

4. Officers Training Academy, Chennai (Madras), OTA SSC Men Non-Technical- 275

5. Officers Training Academy, Chennai (Madras), OTA SSC Women Non-Technical- 18.

Education: Any degree pass is sufficient for Military Academy, and Officers Training Academy posts. Engineering pass-outs are eligible for Naval Academy Jobs. For Air Force posts, you should have passed any degree and studied Maths and Physics in Inter. Women are eligible for OTA SSC non-technical posts only. Those who have written the final year exams and are waiting for the results can also apply.

Age: Indian Military Academy, Naval Academies before January 2, 2001; Those born after January 1, 2006 are ineligible. Those born before January 2, 2001, and after January 1, 2005, are ineligible for Air Force Academy posts. Those born before January 2, 1999, and after January 1, 2005, are ineligible for Officers Training Academy posts.

Selection process: is in two stages. In the first stage, candidates will be selected based on written tests, interviews for intelligence and personality tests, interviews, medical examinations, etc.

Examination Pattern: Each paper will have questions from English, General Knowledge, and Elementary Mathematics for a total of 300 marks out of one hundred. The duration of each paper is 2 hours. Applicants for Officers Training Academy (OTA) posts are not required to write Maths papers.

Interview: The interview section is allotted 300 marks. It will be for 200 marks only for those applying for OTA posts. The interview consists of two phases. If successful in this, a medical examination will be conducted and they will be admitted to training based on merit of examination and interview marks.

Training, Job: Candidates will get the opportunity in any of these Army, Navy, Air Force, or OTA according to their preference and merit. Those selected for the Military Academy are trained at the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun. Those admitted to the Naval Academy are trained in Ezhimas in Kerala. The pilot training for those selected to the Air Force Academy will be in Hyderabad. Candidates selected for Officers Training Academy posts will undergo training in Chennai. Those who complete the training will start their career with the rank of Lieutenant in the Army, OTA, Sub Lieutenant in the Navy, and Flying Officer in the Air Force. 

Application Fee: No for Women, SC, ST. The rest have to pay Rs.200.
