Eligibility Criteria for Visakhapatnam Army Rally 2023
1) Agniveer General Duty (All Arms)
- Class 10th /Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject.
- For boards following the grading system, a minimum of a ‘D’ Grade (33% – 40%) in individual subjects or grades with a minimum of 33% in individual subjects and an overall aggregate of a ‘C2’ grade or equivalent corresponding to 45% in aggregate.
- Note: Candidates with valid Light Motor Vehicle (LMV) Driving Licenses will be given preference for Driver requirements.
2) Agniveer (Technical) (All Arms)
- 10+2/ Intermediate Exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths, and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject. OR
- 10+2 / Intermediate exam pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths & English from any recognized State Edn Bd or Central Edn Bd to include NIOS and ITI course of min one year in the required field with NSQF level 4 or above. OR
- 10th/Matric pass with 50% in aggregate and min 40% in English, Maths, and Science with 02 yrs of Tech Training from ITI or two/three yrs Diploma in following streams (as notified in the rally notification).
3) Agniveer ( Clerk / Store Keeper Technical) (All Arms)
- 10+2/ Intermediate Exam Pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and a minimum of 50% in each subject. Securing 50% in English and Maths/ Accounts/ Book Keeping in Class Xll is mandatory.
4) Agniveer Tradesmen 10th pass (All Arms)
- Class 10th simple pass.
- No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored 33% in each subject.
5) Agniveer Tradesmen 8th pass (All Arms)
- Class 8th simple pass.
- No stipulation in aggregate percentage but should have scored 33% in each subject.
Height (in cm): Agniveer GD/ Tradesman- 166, Agniveer Technical- 165, Agniveer Clerk/ Storekeeper Technical- 162.
Chest measurement: 77 cm with 5 cm expansion on inhalation. should be
Age:
- Minimum Age: 17½ Years
- Maximum Age: 21 Years
- Candidate born between 01 Oct 2002 to 01 April 2006 (both days inclusive)
Examination Fee:
- Examination Fee: Rs.250/-
- Pay Fee Through Online Using Credit Card, Debit Card, Internet Banking, And UPI (Bhim).
Selection Process: Selection will be based on an online computer-based written test, recruitment rally, medical examination, and verification of certificates.
