Education Qualification details:
1 Paediatrician:
A) MBBS ;
B) MD (Paed), If not available, then DCH
C) Registered with any state Medical Council under the Medical Council of India Act
2 Medical Officer (Dental): BDS; registered with TS Dental Council under the Dental Council of India Act
3 Audiologist and Speech Therapist: Bachelor’s Degree in Speech and language pathology from any recognized university in India and registered with TS Para Medical Board.
4 Psychologist: Master’s degree in Child Psychology from a recognized university in India.
5 Optometrist: Bachelor’s degree in Optometry or Master’s degree in optometry from any recognized university and registered with TS Para Medical Board.
6 Early Intervention cum Special Educator: M.Sc in Disability studies (Early Intervention) with a basic degree in physiotherapy (BPT)/Occupational therapy (BOT)/ Speech Language Pathologist (ASLP)/ MBBS/ BAMS/BHMS. (For more info check notification)
7 Social Worker: Master of Social Work / Social Science or MA (Sociology) from a recognized university.
8 Lab-Technician
A) Intermediate
B) i. DMLT or B.Sc. (MLT) from recognized institutions. (Or)
ii. Intermediate MLT (Vocational certificate with One-year clinical training from any Dist.Hospitals / OGH/GH etc).
C) Must be registered with the Para Medical Board
9 Staff Nurse
A) GNM (OR)
B.Sc (Nursing)
B) Registered with TS Nursing Council
10 Dental Technician
A) SSC
B) Diploma in Dental Technician
11 DEIC Manager: Masters in Disability Rehabilitation Administration (MDRA) approved by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI). Basic qualification in BPT (Bachelor in Physiotherapy), BOT (Bachelor in Occupational Therapy), BPO (Bachelor in Prosthetic and orthotics), B. Sc Nursing, and other RCI-recognized degrees.
AGE The minimum age is 18 years and the maximum age is 44 years. The minimum and maximum age shall be reckoned as of 01-07-2022 with the following relaxations allowed for reckoning the maximum age limit as per rules:
