Telangana Model Schools Entrance Test-2023 | The announcement of the Telangana Model Schools Admission Test-2023, which is conducted to fill the vacant seats in classes seven to ten along with providing new admissions in the sixth class in 194 model schools across the state of Telangana, has been released. Apply online till February 15. Entrance exams will be conducted on April 16 in Mandal centers where there are model schools. The list of selected students will be announced on May 15. Each school will accommodate 100 girls. Admitted students are given free coaching for IIT, JEE, NEET, MSET, CA, TPT, CS, and other competitive exams. Exam Details…
Classes to which admissions are granted: 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th in English medium.
Seats: 100 seats in the 6th class in 194 Adarsh schools. A total of 19,400 seats are available. Also, the remaining vacancies in classes seven to ten will be filled with seats.
Age Limit: 10 years for the 6th standard, 11 years for the 7th standard, 12 years for the 8th standard, 13 years for the 9th standard, and 14 years for the 10th standard by August 31, 2023.
Selection Process: Seat will be allotted on the basis of merit obtained in the entrance test and rule of reservation.
Exam Pattern: A written exam will be conducted out of a total of 100 questions carrying 100 marks. One mark per question. There will be questions from four sections. Each section is allotted 25 marks. Questions will be asked from class 6 (Telugu, Maths, Science and Social, English) to classes 7 to 10 (English, Maths, General Science, Social Studies). The duration of the exam is 2 hours.
Examination Fee: Rs.200 for OC category students; EWS, SC, ST, BC, and Divyang students have to pay Rs.125.
Examination Centre: Candidates will have to write the examinations in their Mandal centers.
